Nothing was stolen as they were frightened off by the alarm. They thought they had disengaged it by turning off the electricity - they didn't know alarms have their own power.

When I rang the security firm, I was told to also ring the Police, even though nothing was damaged or stolen. To my surprise, the police duly arrived and asked all their questions. They said that it helps to compile a 'picture' of burglar activity in the area and makes it more likely that the perpetrators will be caught before long. We were very impressed.Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901064145483995261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857159910102323096.post-10926802119724969862009-09-19T18:03:29.846+02:002009-09-19T18:03:29.846+02:00Our burglary system is a bit different...we are co...Our burglary system is a bit different...we are connected to the alarm of course, but when it goes off, within a minute or so, we are called by the alarm company to see if there is a problem...we either can key in a special code to tell them it's an emergency and the alarm company will call the police for us!! It's a terrible thing to be burglarized.

I think a lot of others who don't even HAVE a computer...how can they then proclaim the alarm?Hootin Annihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08811326085498312568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857159910102323096.post-19272973888888953572009-09-19T17:35:15.776+02:002009-09-19T17:35:15.776+02:00Ohhhhhhhhhhh governmental RED TAPE!!!
