One of my grandfathers had a stroke and was unable to speak - I only remember him in hospital. The other grandfather lived until I was 21 years old. He was not a happy grandfather - he couldn't be bothered with granddaughters as he found girls to be useless and he made that clear. Very sad.Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857159910102323096.post-89200711895318102602010-11-06T20:03:39.036+01:002010-11-06T20:03:39.036+01:00What a lovely memory and tribute to you grandfathe...What a lovely memory and tribute to you grandfather who so willingly filled an important role in your life.Tossing Pebbles in the Streamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04354065895900279070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857159910102323096.post-21415139685900179002010-11-06T18:34:51.060+01:002010-11-06T18:34:51.060+01:00Both of my grandfathers lived nearby so I spent mo...Both of my grandfathers lived nearby so I spent more time with them than with my dad when I was young.
