NOT YET FROZEN BUT COMING SOON

I heard in the News tonight that we have the coldest winter since 70 years in Belgium, - 15 °C or less (2 F) and in some parts even worse. According to the weatherman there is still no global warming in view ! Apparently this phenomenon belongs to the past.

Usually I am a rather positive person, but now I start to think that in a few days or weeks we may look like these ice sculptures I had seen 2 years ago in Bruges.

This is me, I had put on some winter fat before I froze

two of my cats froze while asking for treats,

Mr. G froze while drinking a beer

our bar froze too, except the bottles

and our chairs look now like this. Very refreshing when you sit on them.

So if in the next days you don't hear from me then I am frozen.

Gattina, this is a very warm post.
I put on summer fat, then winter fat, then more summer fat. Maybe I will turn to ice eventually?

That all sounds much too cold for me, good thing you have cats to warm the bed for you.
Love the ice sculpting, you were a very good model.

Fascinating ice sculptures!
We, too, are having very cold weather. 20F (minus 6C) this morning. I have an electric heat pad that I use when I have the back ache. Last night I put it in my bed, turned the switch to high, to warm the bed before I got in it!
It has automatic shut off after one hour, so I was cosy going to sleep, without leaving it turned on all night.
Snuggle up and stay warm!

I never knew fat would become see-through! Great photos though, especially love the cats.

Oh boy! I could just sit on one of those cool chairs right now. It is so hot and humid here now, even at 10:00pm.

Hi Gattina! It’s already deep into the New Year and into the crisis, but hope is the last thing to fade... We’ll survive!

We complain here in Lisbon because it's only +5º early in the morning and +12º in the afternoon... ;))

Blogtrotter Two is visiting a place you probably wouldn’t suspect... ;). Enjoy and have a great week ahead!!!

LOL you are so funny. Yes it has been a cold winter in Europe - here too. It has rained every day for over 10 days. That is a miracle around these parts!
