WEEKLY WINNERS - Tour & Taxi Brussels

More participants here at Sarcastic Mom Weekly winners

In the 70th when I got a parcel from my aunt in the States, I had to go to Tour & Taxi to get it through customs, pay a tax and pick it up. But then it closed down and stayed empty for quite a long time.

Tour & Taxi was the Royal Warehouse Brussels and a trading palace built in 1904.

It was entirely renovated in 2001. Today it houses next to 40 companies some very interesting shops and restaurants and an impressive series of cultural events.

I had never seen the "new" Tour & Taxi so I went there last weekend.

and a wine bar. There you could find bottles in all prices from 5 € on to 150 € the bottle ! This little corner was made to taste the wine.

  3. Wow!!!!! I so wish America would do this kind of thing and save our past beauties like yours. All we can think about is tearing down the wonderful and building new, ugly stuff!!!
