In my painting group we were talking about grandchildren. Some had a few once, some already very "old" once and some none yet. This gave me the idea to this Thursday Thirteen.

  1. I have yet to find out. We would love grandchildren but on the other hand a lot of our friends can't come and play with us because they are looking after grand children. So we are enjoying the freedom andwe're not spending on them either. I guess I have to look at the positives of not having any.

  4. Mine is still way to young for me to be thinking grandchildren; I've heard from my mother and my grandparents, that grandchildren keep you young.

  9. These are great! I can't wait until I am a grandmother. That was my motivation to quit smoking a year ago. I want to live long enough to see my grandchildren. Both of my children are in college but my daughter is engaged so I have hope!!

  11. I don't have any grandchildren yet but we have a little girl who comes to us once a month while her mom gets a rest (the girl has 'downs syndrome') so we get to practice so we will be really good at it when the grand kids do come along!
