Since we moved into our house in 1975, my kitchen was red and white and this is the only room in the whole house which never changed. I still like my red walls and the white furniture. All other rooms have changed colors and furniture.

Today I show you some decorative items I have in my red kitchen !

Photobucket

This advice I got from my Irish friend and I'll try to follow it. Besides is a mexican cat.

The plate is normally used for fruits, but I just put the tulip on for the photo.

My son offered me this brush to clean dishes, but as the brush is so nice I bought a simple one and this one is only standing besides the sink for visitors so they can make me compliments for my beautiful looking flower brush. (that's like times when our great grandmas used the living room only on sundays)

The same friend offered me this little old lady not bigger than an apple, which sits on my micro wave just to remind me that I have to live healthy not to end up like this. Of course this is not always the case otherwise where would be the fun ?

  4. Everything is super. I bet your home is like a treasure box. That old lady with the wheeled walker is funny, I would love to have her sitting in my room too. And I like how you associate it to make sure you live a healthy lifestyle so you won't end up like that. You have a good attitude Gattina. The RIGHT attitude.

My Show n Tell is about our Easter Lily. If you can find some time today, stop by, won't you? Happy Friday, happy weekend.

  6. I must say that you have a lot of very interesting decorations in your home! And colorful!

I love that old lady. Reminds me that we have to live our day TODAY and not wait until tomorrow...

We have a really gray day over here today, but I’m not so depressed about it since we just ordered a trip again…

First week in May we’re going to the secret destination we promised Jane. To the warmth since that was her wish. Hoooooray!!!

But keeping it a secret, she doesn’t know anything else than the date…. More fun that way!
