SMILEY SATURDAY - A special doll

Last week I was invited at my son's best friend's who also lives in Waterloo together with his English wife and little Camille their 2 year old daughter. My son had bought a doll who could wee ! Now that was an event ! Mom had to show how to undress the doll, then Camille would feed it with the bottle and right away after the doll was wet ! As the doll was delivered with a little pot, Camille suggested to show "Lola" how to use the pot, as she just had learned it too. Very clever !

  1. A doll that wees. I've heard of those, but they never had them when I was a kid. I really, really wanted a "walkie talkie" doll. But it never eventuated. My parents couldn't afford it and anyway my brothers would have used the doll for a prisoner and decapitated it or something...

  2. Dear Gattina ~~ What a great idea to help train little ones to use a potty
    or the toilet.
I am glad you are pleased with the award. I would gladly send you a eap of heat if I could - it's 43 at present. Glad you liked the Pink Dress story. Take care, Love, Merle.

  4. Ha ha, that's a really fun one. Well, everything should be as realistic as possible. I hope there will not be another upgraded version with the pooping too!

Cute girl - and Mom too.

I think you'll find my lastest blogpost with a video amusing too, even though it's not the promised Tenerife photos.

Somehow, I keep postponing the sorting of the photos and it's coming up other more easy subjects to post all the time, it's really odd.

I'm not fully recovered yet, maybe that have something to do with it, no energy left :-)

  6. Hahaha yes, I had one of those as a kid too, a very simple version I think. Now I'm a grown up and I think its bad enough that REAL babies wet themselves...so I really don't feel the dolls have to! They don't need to hahaha!

  7. my kids had a dog that could poop --
it was sooooo difficult to clean, because that stuff got all moldy inside where you couldn't wash it.

  8. Happy Smiley Saturday. Kids are great fun to play with aren't they. And kids toys just seem to keep evolving! :)
