I don't know why Mr. Linky leads you here to my last weeks "Show & Tell" please go here to today's Show & Tell ! (2 Jan 2009)

A morning after Christmas it is easy to show and tell about something ! For example I can show you what I found under the Christmas tree !

We celebrated in Amsterdam (Holland) together with our son his girlfriend and her parents.
When we arrived we saw this beautiful tree and underneath a lot of packages !

For me I found a wireless mouse for my Baby (travel) laptop !

A beautiful wrought iron welcome sign of course with a cat. Now Mr. Gattino has to hang it besides the entrance door.

a big cat candle which I would never light !

and a very special lamp. It's called "Living colors"especially designed to create your own ambiance in your room through colour and light. With a remote control you can choose your favourite colour to create an ambience to reflect your mood. A rainbow colour ring, a glowing orange sunset, or a flash of violet or fuchsia.

When your well being depends on light as it is my case such a lamp is a wonderful invention !

  4. Thanks for the lovely email Christmas greeting. You got some lovely stuff and your home looks so inviting as usual.

I am glad you liked the photo's of the snow on my blog. I am sitting here watching the snow fall again today. It has been an interesting snow full early Winter. We have not had that much snow compared to other places. Victoria, British Columbia, of all places has had upwards to 50CM when normally they do not have white Chritmases. Their climate could be similar to Belgiums.

Belgium politics continue to amuse me. It must be a sign of a very civilized society when everything functions even as the government sputters along. I noticed Canada and Belgium topped the list as least corrupt societies. Good for us.

  9. Ahhhhh - you were well gifted! You got some neat things - and all thoughtful to your loves!

I think your son's invitation to his foreign friends was WONDERFUL! And I'm sure it was very appreciated. I bet they all had a really good time too!

Pastor delivered the gifts that we bought for "the family" and he said the mother was just overwhelmed by it! She couldn't believe that we bought so much - and that it was all already WRAPPED!!! I doubt Pastor was there when she opened our card - but I'm betting she was even more overwhelmed then! It feels sO good to help others out -- anytime - but especially at THIS time of year!
