I don't have a lot to show yet, because we are too lazy to go shopping and so tired in the evening from all that fresh air at the beach.

We always think that we still have more than one week time. Unfortunately I catched a bronchitis and have to take antibiotics, which makes me tired too.

But here are a few items I bought as little gifts to make, and two lovely necklaces for me. Fortunately I like to haggle because usually I get then less than half of the price ! Egyptians love ito haggle and if you play the game you can do very good deals.

and the two necklaces in half precious stones.

  1. Did you dress too light ?? sorry to hear you are sick, hope the antibiotics work soon.
Nice finds, and they are small so they fit in every suitcase.
    Love your multi-purpose post :)
What is Chantal having for breakfast? can't decide what I see to the right of the table (from my point of view). Please explain, lol. And get ready for another "boring" week :)

  3. Would LOVE to have that pill box. I'm going to have to look for one just like that here! Doubt if I'll find anything close...but that one is super!!!!

  4. (your comment box is not playing well with me this morning! I've had a horrible time leaving comments!)

I'm so sorry you got sick on your vacation - that should NEVER happen! On the other hand... I love that little turtle pill box! At first glance I thought her shell looked like a HAT! But then I looked again and realized it's a baby turtle on her back! It's still cute... I'd like it better if the shell was a hat... LOL! Chantal looks absolutely DELIGHTED with the breakfast! How great!

  5. Lovely items. I shopped in Egypt in 1978. It was such fun. We spent some time in Cairo and Alexandria. We were on a cruise ship harbored at Alexandria, and one night a small group of us went into the city. It was pretty scary at night, but very exciting. Your post brought back good memories. Thanks.
