Each year in June Waterloo organizes the reconstitution of the battle of Waterloo, which took place on the 18th of June 1815. It always is a big event and tourists from all over the world are coming to watch the battle. The soldiers in their costumes from 1815 perform the battle as truely as possible. They are coming from the England, Scotland, Holland, Germany and France.

I went there yesterday. Please continue here

Wow Gattina....dear man of mine is just green with envy here. He loved the slide show. Actually the whole lot of pictures you posted/shared. Just wow, double wow.

I love the captions you shared too, the soldiers bring their doctor along...the older couple just standing at the step, all for the tourists...it's amazing.

I [and Bud] truly enjoyed this immensely!!! You did good.

I love the shot of the re-enactment! I had a shot of Revolutionary toy soldiers a couple weeks back. Very cool to see real men in uniform!
Have a great week, Gattina!

That's a pretty amazing spectacle to put on every year. I'll have to put that on my list of must see when I travel in your area. I'll just have to make sure I'm there on the right date.

Have a good week.
